Automatic layout checks

What is Viewport Buddy?
Viewport Buddy, made by 2Web Holdings Ltd., is a responsive screenshot crawler. It reads a website’s sitemap, captures a full-page screenshot of each page you select at several screen sizes, and flags layout problems so you can see how every page looks on phones, tablets, laptops and desktops without checking them one by one.
Which screen sizes does Viewport Buddy capture?
The built-in viewports are phone (375×812), tablet (768×1024), laptop (1366×768) and desktop (1920×1080), in CSS pixels. Phone and desktop are included on the free plan; paid plans add tablet and laptop, and custom viewports are available within paid-plan limits.
What responsive layout problems does it find?
When the capture engine provides browser measurements, automatic checks flag horizontal overflow, text that is too small, tap targets that are too small, oversized images and overlapping text, each with a severity and, where available, its location and a suggested fix. Optional AI reviews give a second opinion on selected screen sections. Neither replaces human review or certifies accessibility.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan costs nothing and includes 200 screenshots a month, 2 domains, 2 viewports per page, 3 AI reviews to try and images kept for 7 days. Paid plans start at $19 USD per month and add more screenshots, viewports, AI reviews and change tracking.
How are screenshots counted?
One screenshot is one page captured at one viewport, so capturing 10 pages at 4 viewports uses 40 screenshots. Allowances reset on the 1st of each month, and a capture that finally fails gives its screenshot back.
Can clients review results without an account?
Yes, on the Pro and Agency plans. You send a client a private project link plus a four-character PIN; they get read-only access to completed reports, screenshots, findings, AI summaries and the notes you mark as shared. You can expire PINs, rotate the link and review an access log at any time.
Can Viewport Buddy track changes over time?
Yes. On plans with change tracking you can schedule re-crawls and compare each capture with the previous crawl using visual diffs, with before, after and overlay views.
Which websites can I crawl?
Only websites you own or are authorized to test. Some actions and higher-volume captures require verifying ownership of the domain. Pages behind bot protection may show as blocked.
How is Viewport Buddy different from a device emulator or browser extension?
Emulators and extensions show one page at a time while you click around. Viewport Buddy works from the sitemap, so it captures every selected page at every chosen viewport in one crawl, keeps the screenshots for comparison, and lets you share the results as a report or client link.
