LEGAL · DRAFT FOR REVIEW
Terms & Conditions
The terms for using our website review service.
1. Your agreement with us
These Terms govern your use of Viewport Buddy and related website capture, analysis, reporting, and client-review services (the “Service”), operated by 2Web Holdings Ltd. (“we”, “us”, “our”). By selecting the Terms checkbox when creating an account, you agree to this version of the Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled.
You must be legally able to enter this agreement. If you use the Service for an organization or client, you confirm you have authority to do so and to submit its websites and content. Keep your account credentials secure and notify us of unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account and project invitations.
2. Authorized websites and acceptable use
Only crawl websites you own or are authorized to test. Obtain any permissions and notices needed to capture, store, analyze, or share their content, including personal information. Do not submit payment-card details, health records, passwords, or other sensitive content unless the Service and your arrangements with us specifically support it.
Do not use the Service to break the law, infringe rights, harass others, bypass access controls, disrupt websites, distribute malicious material, or attempt to access another customer’s data. Follow reasonable usage and plan limits. A crawl is not permission to copy or republish a website’s content.
3. What the Service provides
The Service discovers pages, captures screenshots at selected viewport sizes, and provides review tools. Depending on your plan and configuration, it may offer automated checks, AI reviews, scheduled captures, visual comparisons, reports, and client access. See the documentation and current plan details for availability and limits.
The Service is currently an alpha product. Features and availability can change. Captures may fail or differ from a visitor’s experience because of blocked access, dynamic content, timing, or browser differences. Automated findings and AI output can be incomplete or incorrect; review them yourself. The Service does not certify accessibility, security, legal compliance, or that a website is free of defects.
4. Plans, subscriptions, and billing
Free and paid plans have limits on screenshots, domains, AI reviews, retention, and other features. A screenshot is one page at one viewport. The plan and checkout screens describe your selected billing period, currency, price, and applicable taxes. Payment is processed through Stripe.
Paid subscriptions renew for the selected period unless cancelled according to the checkout terms. Manage payment methods, invoices, and cancellation in your account’s billing portal. Plan changes can take effect immediately and may create prorated charges or credits; review the confirmation before proceeding. Cancelling a subscription and deleting an account are separate actions. Cancel an active subscription before deleting your account.
Unless required by applicable law or expressly offered at checkout, fees for a period already started are non-refundable. Any future price change will be communicated as required by law and the subscription terms. Do not assume a new-customer price applies to an existing subscription. Mandatory consumer rights take precedence over these Terms.
Business review required: confirm the refund/cancellation policy, renewal notices, taxes, trial terms, and any regional consumer requirements before finalizing this section.
5. Your content, captures, and sharing
You retain your rights in content you submit or are authorized to capture. You grant us the limited permission needed to access, copy, process, store, and display that content to provide and secure the Service, including through configured service providers. You must have the necessary rights to grant this permission. The Service’s software, design, and branding remain ours or our licensors’.
You choose who receives project links, PINs, shared reports, and exported files. Anyone with the required link and credentials may be able to view the shared material. Only mark notes for client sharing when appropriate. Revoke access when it is no longer needed. Expiring a PIN or report link cannot recall screenshots, PDFs, or copies already downloaded by a recipient.
Images and reports are subject to retention limits. Export anything you need before it expires or before deleting your account. Deletion and retention are described in our Privacy Policy; we do not promise permanent archival storage.
6. Third-party services
Payment, capture, AI, hosting, and email providers may be used to deliver the Service. Your use of external services may also be subject to their terms. The primary app servers are in Canada; some providers may process information elsewhere. Details and limitations are set out in the Privacy Policy.
7. Suspension, warranties, and responsibility
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, suspected misuse, non-payment, legal obligations, or a breach of these Terms. Where practical and appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. You may stop using the Service and manage cancellation through your account.
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without a promise of uninterrupted operation or complete, accurate results. You remain responsible for deciding which website changes to make and for maintaining your own backups and access controls.
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Service. Our total liability relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid for it in the preceding twelve months. These limitations do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or reduce mandatory statutory rights.
8. Updates and governing law
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or account email as appropriate; renewed acceptance may be required. An acceptance record for an earlier version is not an acceptance of every later version.
To be completed: select the governing Canadian province or territory and an appropriate dispute-resolution forum, subject to mandatory consumer rights.
9. Company and contact
2Web Holdings Ltd. is the operator of the Service.
Contact details pending: 2Web Holdings Ltd.’s support/privacy contact email must be supplied before this draft is finalized.
Company/privacy mailing address: to be confirmed before publication of the final policy.
Before adoption: arrange legal review, complete the company contact and jurisdiction details, verify the Privacy Policy against the deployed providers, and replace the draft version identifier when adopting the final Terms.
